We spent the day traveling on two planes and then by van and arrived Capljina by about 5:30 PM local time. (FYI we are 6 hours ahead of EDT so that was 11:30 AM EDT). Most of us were able to sleep on the flight over and most got a good night sleep last night. The big praise is that all of the bags arrived safely. One of the "Tupperware"-style tubs had broken pieces but all of the contents were intact. We cleared customs in a quick time and were on the road.
Restaurant Rustica
The restaurant that we will be having dinner each night welcomed us with open arms last night. We tried different dishes. One person had octopus salad, one person had spaghetti, others had weinerschnitzel, and a variety of other dishes. We ate well. The restaurant is adjacent to some roman ruins that we didn't fully explore yet.

Festival Planning
Today we will meet with Bernard, Mick, and Ali to plan the festival. The actual festivities will start tomorrow. Bernard is pastor of the local church and Mick & Ali are heading up the community center Novi Most. We will be working with them in all our plans and activities.

Ah, the Villa Rustica. I see you're enjoying the fruits of our labor at the restaurant. ;)
(While we were there, we ate mostly the same thing every night. And while it was good, it just gets old, ya know?)
